Welcome to the Jackrabbit Baseball School, where every aspiring baseball player can discover the fundamentals of the game, develop essential skills, and build a solid foundation for future success. At the Jackrabbit Baseball School, we’re dedicated to providing a comprehensive introduction to baseball that covers everything from the basics to more advanced techniques. Our program is designed for players of all ages and skill levels, focusing on core aspects such as:

• The Basics of Baseball: Learn the fundamental rules, strategies, and techniques that make the game exciting and enjoyable. Whether you’re new to baseball or looking to refine your understanding, our coaching staff and players will guide you through every aspect of the game.
• Introduction to Arm Care: Discover the importance of proper arm care and injury prevention techniques. Our tailored sessions will teach you how to keep your arm healthy and strong, ensuring you can perform at your best throughout the season.
• Hitting and Defensive Training: Learn the art of hitting with straightforward, effective drills that improve your swing mechanics. Our defensive training focuses on key skills and strategies to enhance your fielding and baserunning, making you a well-rounded player.
• Pitching Fundamentals: Dive into the essential techniques of pitching, including proper mechanics, grip variations, and strategies for success on the mound. Our pitching coaches will help you develop a consistent delivery, control, and an effective repertoire to outsmart batters.
• Catching Skills: Learn the critical skills needed to be a catcher. From framing pitches and blocking balls to calling games and working with pitchers, our catching programs will equip you with the tools to be a key player behind the plate.

Location: Sanford Jackrabbit Athletic Complex (SJAC)

Equipment Needed: Baseball pants, hat, shoes, glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, catcher’s gear, etc.

Refund Policy: There will be no refunds given.

Additional Information: If a camper will require any accommodations due to special needs, we ask that you notify us via e-mail or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior to the camp start date so we can make the accommodations.
