Winter Camps |
Offense & Defense Camp: Camp will start with a showcase format, including running times. Infielders will be able to field ground balls on a full infield and outfielders will throw from their position. Followed by small group position specific instruction and a hitting instructional period, along with hitting evaluations. All instructions and evaluations will be from the SDSU staff.
Pitching & Catching Camp: Camp will start with a showcase format, including running times. Catchers will throw to 2nd and 3rd base, while being evaluated. Followed by small group position specific instruction; then pitchers will throw bullpens to the catchers, while working with the coaches. Finishing up with a hitting instructional period, along with hitting evaluations. All instructions and evaluations will be from the SDSU staff.
There are a couple camp options for you. First, camp plus evaluation; camper will participate in all aspects of camp plus receive written evaluations covering your position(s), plus hitting. Early registration is required for this option. Second, the camp only option, campers will participate in all aspects of the camp, but with no written evaluations. Third, camp combination, you may sign up for both camps at a combined price of $150 for camp only or $200 for camp, plus evaluations.

Location: Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex, located on the Northeast Corner of South Dakota State University Campus
What To Bring: Baseball pants, hat, turfs or molded cleats (NO Metal Cleats), glove, bat, batting gloves, helmet, and catcher’s gear.

Note: If a camper will require any accommodations due to special needs, we ask that you notify us via e-mail or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior to the camp start date so we can make the accommodations.
