 2020 Winter Prospect Camp


Session 1 will consist of position players (INF/OF) partaking in a workout to showcase their offensive and defensive abilities. The workout will be evaluated by SDSU coaching staff, who will provide measurables for 60 yd dash, arm strength velocity and hitting exit velocity. All participants will also receive instruction at their position from a member of the SDSU coaching staff.

Session 2 will consist of an evaluation of pitchers and catchers only. Catchers will be able to showcase their abilities in a workout that will provide measurables in the 60 yd dash, arm strength velocity, pop times and hitting exit velocity. Pitchers will be given the opportunity to throw live bullpens. Both pitchers and catchers will receive additional instruction from SDSU staff.

Location: Sanford-Jackrabbit Athletic Complex, located on the Northeast Corner of South Dakota State University Campus

What To Bring: Baseball pants, hat, helmet, bat, glove, batting gloves, catchers gear, molded cleats or shoes (NO METAL SPIKES)

Additional Information: If a camper will require any accommodations due to special needs, we ask that you notify us via e-mail or in writing of those needs a minimum of two weeks prior to the camp start date so we can make the accommodations.

Jackrabbit Baseball Camps are open to any and all entrants (limited only by number, age, grade level and/or gender).
